We are delighted to publish our latest impact report highlighting the progress and achievements made through our Village Investors Programme (VIP) in 2023.
Across the year, we supported more than 13,000 parents and guardians across East Africa to train in community banking skills and launch their own small businesses. As a result, they generated over £675,000 and created immediate and long-term benefits for over 44,500 children.
2023 also saw the VIP reach another significant milestone; since we launched the programme in 2014, the VIP has provided a platform for entrepreneurs across East Africa to generate more than £5 million!
